Stress Reduction Mindfulness Courses for Employees

An introductory mindfulness course begins with basic training in mindfulness meditation. Employees learn simple methods of being aware of stress triggers, calming the body and mind, and practicing self-care. Mind-Body Wellness also places special emphasis on how to practice mindfulness on the job, including mindful communication.

A typical introductory mindfulness course for employees includes:

  • Four to six sessions that cover: 1) what mindfulness is and how to practice it, 2) mindfulness of the body, 3) mindfulness for coping with stress, and 4) practicing mindfulness on the job (including mindful communication)
  • Mindfulness practice CDs and hand-outs
  • Tea, fruit, and simple snacks for use during the tea meditation
